Your self-guided tour can begin anywhere you'd like. Walk down to the beach and enjoy the view of Narragansett Bay, step into early 20th-century elegance by starting in the Mansion, or walk the grounds and enjoy the gardens. This estate was built with family fun, relaxation and enjoyment in mind so feel free to take your time and savor each moment.

Your admission allows you access to the estate for the day. We encourage picnicking! Remember to take out what you bring in. Downtown Bristol has many places to purchase a delicious lunch to bring back to Blithewold and enjoy on the terrace or anywhere in the gardens.

Blithewold’s Family Fun Fridays are the ultimate family-friendly way to enjoy an early summer afternoon. Bring a picnic, a blanket to sit on, and enjoy the show!  Dance and sing along with your family, each week, to a variety of educational and interactive musical performances.
